React Job: Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a qualified Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team of engineers and developers. We build innovative technical solutions for our clients in industries like finance, sales, and marketing.

This role is working with one of our international finance customers developing software development tools for Human Resource Management solutions.

The ideal candidate will have 5 to 8 years of software engineering and development experience using NodeJS & JavaScript ES6 (Promises, destructuring, new collections, etc.) and good experience with data structures, algorithms and distributed systems.

To qualify for this position, you have:

• University degree or graduate degree related to software engineering and development (or equivalent experience)
• Proficient in NodeJS & JavaScript ES6 (Promises, destructuring, new collections, etc.)
• Proficient in AngularJS and Angular
• GoLang
• Good experience working with data structures, algorithms and distributed systems
• Exposure to various data stores like Redis, MySQL, Aurora, DynamoDB, ElasticSearch
• Proficient in writing and understanding complex SQL queries
• Strong experience with Testing (unit, integration) and code coverage
• Experience following the Agile Development Framework
• Experience code reviewing pull requests and providing feedback
• Collaborative team player with the ability to take initiative and make decisions independently where it is appropriate
• Other desirable traits include curiosity for learning, attention to detail, and an analytical and growth mindset

Nice to Have

• Proficient with microservices, Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience working with Amazon Web Services such as Lambda and DynamoDB
• ReactJS
